Our Work With Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

Aloft has been selected to develop several educational courses for the Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) in anticipation of the the dynamic Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) and its accompanying Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD). This industry-wide training initiative is aimed at preparing both appraisers and industry professionals for deep changes.

We are privileged to collaborate with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac on this crucial endeavor and are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to deliver this essential education through AloftU. Coming winter of 2024-2025.

Our Instructors

Heather Sullivan

Heather Sullivan is Head of Learning and Development at Aloft, where she leads educational programs to strengthen the appraiser workforce and develop the next generation of appraisers. Heather is an AQB-Certified USPAP Instructor, an IDECC Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI), and a Certified Residential Appraiser in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California. Sullivan is also a working member of the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB), appointed in 2022 by the Board of Trustees of the Appraisal Foundation.

Heather has written several nationally recognized and state-approved continuing education courses for appraisers and has taught appraisers across the country. Heather enjoys speaking at national conferences and attending industry events.

Andraya Lafredo

Andraya LaFredo is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser in Washington. She started her career as a Real Estate Agent before becoming a Certified Appraiser and enjoys the analysis and problem-solving aspects of appraisal practice. Andraya is an IDECC Certified Distance Education Instructor(CDEI), and member of the Aloft Learning and Development team, working to create practical and informative continuing education content for Appraisers and Real Estate professionals.

Pamela Teel

Pamela Teel, ATA-G, MNAA, is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Texas, an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor, an IDECC Certified Distance Educator, and an NAA Certified Appraisal Reviewer. Her current appraisal practice consists of appraisal review, education, mentoring and consulting. Pam previously owned Corpus Christi Appraisal Service in Corpus Christi, Texas, and held a position as staff appraiser for a nationwide lender where she was responsible for development and delivery of appraisal policies and appraisal review training. Prior to becoming a real estate appraiser, Pam was the Vice President of Operations for a commercial property management company, managing office buildings, shopping centers, industrial properties, and apartment complexes. Pam has been appointed by the State of Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board as a Mentor, is past President of the Texas Association of Appraisers, and is currently Secretary of the National Association of Appraisers.

Joshua Wallit

Joshua Walitt is a principal consultant for Walitt Solutions. With over 25years of experience, Walitt’s skillset includes appraisal, banking, regulations, policy, instruction, licensing, and enforcement. Walitt has an extensive background in education, mentoring, and learning platforms. He is considered a subject matter expert on collateral valuation methods and compliance with standards and regulations. He is a past president of the National Association of Appraisers after serving as the 2023 President and 2021 and 2022 Vice President. Walitt is an AQB Certified USPAP Instructor, holds the SRA &AI-RRS designations and with Appraisal Institute, is a member of the National Association of Appraisers (MNAA), holds a Certified Distance Instructor (CDEI)certificate, served on the Colorado Board of Real Estate Appraisers and is an Appraisal Institute approved instructor.
